Many reviews have accurately described the masterful blend of sludge, doom, and progressive metal (with a dash of black) that defines Paradise Gallows, but another sub-genre, and perhaps the most important here, is often overlooked: stoner rock. This draws you into the zone right away and holds you there for the duration, and this zone is dark, crushing, and nearly hopeless. The guitar work is beautifully droning, but the cascading drumming deserves special praise. Inter Arma’s best! Ippocalyptica
One of the most unsettling albums i have heard in a while. Chat Pile creates a grotesque blend of noise and groove that brings me back everytime. scarface6204

The debut full-length from Kenoma is full of spacious, haunting songs that steadily build to great rushes of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 29, 2017
